This book is of a series. It has one book before this one, If I Stay. The author Gayle Forman is a very good writer, she goes into detail but not to the point where its not necessary. The book Where I Went goes ahead three years from when Mia woke up from her accident and three years after she walked out of Adams life. Mia went on playing the cello for Juilliard. While Adam went on being a bona fide rock star and having a celebrity girlfriend. Fate brought them together for one night and the city that has become Mia's home. After they explored the city they grew close again. I predict that by the end of the book they will be together again.
